2015 - 2016

AZ Elite first opened its doors as CADC. With only two coaches and four athletes. Over the year CADC did a lot of community work, getting more kids involved in dance classes in the North Cardiff area.

There first ever performance was in December 2016 - the nutcracker. They did a mixture of all forms of dance giving many kids the chance to try something different and grow as dancers.

2016 - 2017

CADC started working more towards pom and lyrical dance. With their first ever competition as a team competing in the ICC Welsh Open. Both coaches and althese alike learnt more about the sports and grew as a team. CADC grew its coaching teams as well as starting its junior dance programme. Dancers from the age of eight took part in the junior coaching training with Sports learns UK. All of which received their qualification in I can lead Sports UK.

2017 - 2018

CADC continued to grow its teams, now with five teams in pom and lyrical from ages 3 to 14 years. They competed locally, and placed in the top 3 in most competitions. All our teams won bids to Battle of the Champions. The idea of inclusive training started to grow and more and more kids regardless of their ability were able to be apart of a team and develop their confidence and skills. CADC started to re brand with the idea of making inclusive training bigger and more accessible to all. Our junior coaching programme grew and eight new junior coaches became qualified and started assisting in all classes, including choreographing routines.

2018 - 2019

CADC had its last year competing under CADC. Walking away with a few national trophies and teams developing more and more. CADC took on three new coaches, giving more dancers the chance to learn tumble, improve in their acrobatic skills and over all dance technique. By July 2019 CADC closed its doors and rebranded fully as AZ Elite. Along with rebranding new online and structures were put in place to ensure all dancers had the best opportunities to develop at their own pace and reach personal goals. At the start of the 2019 / 20 season AZ Elite started with 13 new teams, from tiny to junior. All training in Christ the King Primary School in Llanishen.

2019 - 2020

AZ Elite continues to train and develop their teams. AZ Elite have now got a new home and a full floor, giving the chance for more classes, recreational and competitive. We are excited to have such a strong coaching team and great links within the community and other teams. We are looking forward to our competitions this season and hope to continue to grow and learn creating memories along the way!
